It has some impressive environmental scenery, but the story is terrible and the characters are rubbish. It's a soulless money-grab with Tolkien's name pasted on it to try to give it some legitimacy. At best, it's a forgetable waste of time. At worst, it's a disgusting slap in the face to Tolkien, his fans, and his legacy.
